Clockstock Festival, Chelmsford
The Clockstock Festival in Chelmsford is renowned for its electrifying performances and immersive experiences. In 2022, the festival organisers sought to elevate the visual spectacle by incorporating an increased amount of video into their production.
Clockstock Festival recognises the transformative power of large scale displays to captivate audiences and create unforgettable moments. By partnering with Wheelhouse, a leading Audio Visual production house, the festival aimed to deliver a visually stunning experience that would surpass previous editions.
Wheelhouse supplied 630 panels of ROE MC7 across the three stages. These panels proved appropriate for the content, given their exceptional image quality, resolution, and superior colour reproduction. The LED offered vibrant and sharp visuals, perfectly complementing the content production for the numerous artists & DJ’s in residence. This ensured that every audience member, regardless of their position, could immerse themselves in the dazzling displays.
From captivating artist content to live camera feeds, the LED screens showcased every detail, ensuring that even those far from the stage didn’t miss a moment.
The seamless integration of sound and visuals enhanced the performances, amplifying the impact of each artist and creating unforgettable moments. By continuing to push the boundaries of visual innovation, Clockstock Festival continues to ensure its place as a credible force in the festival landscape.
There’s always a danger of being sucked into the resolution debate, and there are still lower resolution products in the market that comfortably match the higher resolution offerings for this type of application.
